It's a waiting game until February 2, when we will find out what name the Washington Football Team selects to replace the generic one it has been using since July 2020.
Sure, we could try to guess which one of the potential names that have already been circulating will be the winning name. But seeing as we're a humor website (as opposed to a news or sports website), we decided to float a bunch of names that were rejected .
Naturally, many of these names are derived from Washington being the center of the federal government in the United States, and are, um, shall we say...not very flattering. Yup, the names are made up and are supposed to be funny, but your mileage may vary—especially if you identify as a sloth.
And so we present the second of four funny top ten lists regarding rejected new names of the Washington Football Team.
