Commentary

As the team with the worst record among the teams that made the playoffs, the Atlanta Braves were not expected to win the World Series in 2021. Yet they overcame adversity (not to mention the Brewers, Dodgers, and Astros) to come out with the victory.

Yeah, we'll admit it: some of the items on this funny top ten list are real obstacles that the Braves overcame, but most of the items are satirical. Did Will Smith have to walk to practice, and was it uphill both ways (item 8)? Not as far as we know. And did the team bus break down in Death Valley during August (item 6)? Heck, they probably don't even have a team bus!

We're proud of the what the Braves have accomplished this year, but we decided to have a little fun with the "overcoming adversity" theme by taking it to ridiculous extremes.
