Commentary

Recently we saw a trivia question on TV asking which actual TV program was once going to be called "Alexis Texas." We missed seeing the answer, but we deduced that the paradigm of "girl's name" followed by rhyming "name of a U.S. state" must mean the show was Hannah Montana.

That trivia question inspired us to start brainstorming name combinations for other states. Why? Why not!

We later discovered that Disney wanted to distance themselves from "Alexis Texas" because the name was already identified with an adult film star. By then our momentum was unstoppable, as we were already churning out name-state combinations fast enough to make your head spin.

We have no reason for doing this whimsical series of five lists other than it just seemed like fun. Your mileage may vary.
