Commentary
The quirky names that Elon Musk gave to his children lead us to speculate that he is unlikely to be successful at marketing any software that he may design to help pick baby names. We have no reason to believe he would launch such a baby naming venture, but we do find the concept amusing.
The quirky names in question include names such as Techno Mechanicus, Exa Dark Sideræl, Strider, and Azure. Other of Musk's kids' names are less odd, including Kai, Saxon, and Damian.
In this frivolous yet mean-spirited exercise, we have created a funny top ten list of made-up baby names that touch on Musk themes like technical/energy prowess, interest in space flight, social awkwardness, and general weirdness.
It's not the first time we've poked fun at Musk, as we've previously speculated about his high school accomplishments (Lists 109 and 110) and penned a rather silly series of five top ten lists regarding anagrams of Elon Musk's name (Lists 121-125). In List 168, we featured Musk in a comparo with two other billionaires, aptly dubbed dueling billionaires .
We've had enough fun with this "Elon Musk baby name software" concept that we plan to stretch this list into a series. Woo hoo!
