Commentary

This funny collection of ill-advised activities includes some old favorites (item 3) along with several more modern examples of bad ideas.

We start things off with a funny reference to an old ZZ Top song (item 10). Item 7 features a couple of time-tested mom warnings regarding things their kids should never do.

We make reference to several recent instances of Secret Service agents being bitten by Joe Biden's dog (item 9). Item 8 is an ill-advised thing to do in general but especially in the current scorching conditions, and item 6 is a reference to a recent embarrassing news story from Hoover, Alabama (near Birmingham) in the United States.

We also threw in some references to recent news (item 2) and modern-day foibles from national parks (items 5 and 1). Note the accompanying picture was generated by artificial intelligence and does not depict an actual person or situation.

These are all bad ideas—please don't try them.
